?Our log home was originally treated with a log oil finish. The house would look great for a couple of weeks after treatment, at best. Dirt and dust would begin to accumulate on the sticky tops of the logs. Within a year, the logs would give the appearance of being dry and aged.
Fortunately we found Teresa Millwee, of Northwest Log Home Care. Teresa said that she and her crew could make our home look better than new. We were excited and contracted her to strip, stain, seal and chink the entire outside of the house. Teresa and her crew took pride in their work and presented us with a finished product that exceeded our expectations. We were so happy with her performance that we again hired her to seal and chink the interior of our house and garage . Once again, the finished product exceeded our expectations. The finish makes the logs look beautiful. The chinking provides definition to the logs and gives an artistic flare to the house and has made the house impervious to outside noise. We have hired Teresa to remove all of our carpet and laminate flooring and replace it with solid unfinished hardwood flooring. Teresa will then sand and finish the floor with Permachink Sure Shine Floor Finish. We expect the result to be as exceptional as past performances.
